Pransky and Associates is a private practice
comprised of mental health professionals who share a common philosophy
regarding human psychological functioning. The founders of Pransky
and Associates, Dr. George Pransky and his wife Linda, have been
pioneers in bringing this understanding to the field of counseling
and mental health.
George and Linda began their practice in 1980
in Oakland, California, providing counseling services for individuals,
couples, and families. After they moved from the Bay Area to La
Conner, Washington, their practice soon grew to include consulting
programs for businesses and organizations, executive coaching, mediation,
and professional training. In response to a growing demand, George
and Linda recruited some of the leading practitioners in the field.
Keith Blevens, Ph.D. joined the staff from
Baylor University in Texas where he served as Director of Psychological
Services. Sandy Krot, M.S. came to Pransky and Associates from her
successful private practice in Tampa, Florida and Dicken Bettinger,
Ed.D. left Burlington,Vermont having founded the Vermont Center
for Human Understanding. George and Linda's two daughters, Kara
Stamback, M.S. and Erika Bugbee, M.A., joined the staff after completing
their Graduate degrees. The most recent addition to Pransky and
Associates is George's nephew Aaron Turner, who moved from London,
England after receiving his Ph.D..
